Dear Reader,
WELCOME to another issue of Concern.
In this issue we have news reports showing the double standards employed by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society.
As you may be aware, pressure by the Russian government, to hinder the activities of Jehovah's Witnesses, appears to be gathering pace.
Although the Justice Ministry has recently agreed to re-register the Jehovah's Witnesses as a religion, a court case in Moscow could still see Witnesses banned from worshipping in public.
Now even more bad news is looming after the Ministry announced it was considering banning the JWs from its door-to-door work.
Of course the society doesn't like this and claims that the government should allow Jehovah's Witnesses to worship freely.
But in the same breath the dictatorial Watch Tower Society has forced some of its members to close down their Internet sites.
Freedom of speech has no place in the lives of present-day Jehovah's Witnesses.
If the Watch Tower Society is so quick to curtail the activities of its own members then surely it cannot complain when the Russian Government wants to do exactly the same thing. What do you think?
