Where Are the Dead?
by Wilbur Lingle
Since the Watchtower Society does not believe in the Biblical teaching that humans have an eternal soul which separates from the body at the time of physical death and then exists in heaven or hell, it has to use a lot of double-talk to try to justify its belief? that man does not possess an eternal soul, and that when a person dies there is nothing conscious that continues to exist.
The Watchtower Society’s false teaching that “hell” is “the common grave of mankind” is the very foundation for all the rest of its false teachings.
What an insult it is when groups like the Watchtower Society demote Jesus from His status as eternal creator (John 1:3) to a being belonging to time “the first creature”.
If this were not bad enough the Watchtower Society also teaches that Jesus had to be Born Again (regenerated) and that He became God’s spiritual son at His baptism by John the Baptist (See Greatest Man book – story 12 and Reasoning Book p76)
The Bible clearly states in 1 Corinthians 15:21 that death came into the world because of one man’s (Adam’s) sin and that by the death of another Man (Jesus) came the resurrection of the dead.
The Watchtower Society robustly avoids giving its followers any idea that it believes in evolution, and maintains that it adheres to the Genesis account of creation.
