I was raised as a Jehovah's Witnesses when my mother joined the religion when I was one year old. While never a baptised member of Jehovah's Witnesses, I was still influenced by the Watch Tower Society's teachings and would defend them in any conversation. However, after finding out about the Watch Tower Society's string of false prophecies I came to the conclusion that the God of the Bible would never be so slapdash. I became a Born Again Christian at the age of 17 and have been actively reaching out to Jehovah's Witnesses, to help them discover the "real" Jesus, ever since. My mother also eventually left the Watchtower Society's clutches.
