What are the purposes of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society? In the 1969 Yearbook (page 50) the Society gives a lengthy quote from its own Charter as to the purposes of the Organization. But what the statement in the Yearbook attempts to do is to hide the fact the Watch Tower Society is on record as having said that one of the reasons for its existence is “for public Christian worship of Almighty God and Christ Jesus”.
