What Kind of Person Becomes A Jehovah's Witness?

In short, anyone.

If that answer seems too simplistic we should remember that we are all born with a “carnal mind”, and an in-built hostility to the Gospel of Grace.

That means we have nothing within us “by nature” that responds to the Word of Truth. So it follows that every one of us is vulnerable to what the Devil can make “seem right”.

It will explain why all walks of life; rich, poor, educated, uneducated can fall for the Watchtower line.

Many unbelievers, who can see right through the Watchtower’s phoney gospel, end up following some other cult.

Many of us, who are reading these lines, have known what it is to have been taken in by “another gospel” (Galatians 1:6-9).

Appreciating these things can help us understand the need for patience, persistence and, above all, love for JWs. Let us resolve to warn them, AND WIN THEM, for our Lord Jesus Christ.
