Welcome to another year and another issue of Concern.
Since our last issue, much has happened in the Watch Tower world.
For a start we find ourselves in agreement with the Watch Tower Society over the news that Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia are battling for their freedom to worship.
This is a very worrying situation not only for Jehovah's Witnesses but also for other minority groups in Russia, including evangelical Christians.
If the JWs are defeated here, then which group will be next?
In South America, a Columbian court official has said that the Watch Tower Society's ban on blood transfusion could be seen as "first degree murder".
Although the society hasn't been taken to court yet, it is possible something like this could happen in the future.
In the meantime, please continue to send us your letters and experiences. We look forward to hearing from you.
